Do you need a green card in order to become a flight attendant?

I am a citizen of New Zealand, but live in the U.S. I have a work authorization card but have not yet recieved my greencard. (Everything has been approved but it may take years before I recieve it) I would like to work as an international flight attendant, but am not sure if this requires a green card or if my work authorization card is enough.
