Should teenagers be punished for engaging in ual activity?
The way society is structured for living a long life, they would have a hard time surviving only to have the process repeat itself. Now in cultures past where long life was not expected, this was the norm. To go on any farther with an ever increasing oppressive way of life might be a contributing factor. As of the empty rebellion of the '60's the trend has continued as the board of education has been hijacked. To succeed in life, one has to get past all of the intentional road blocks to getting the now over-glorified college degree. The rebellion of the '60's cost us all, so that graduating from high school isn't enough. Now we have to spend more money going to college to actually be something that used to be in the primary education system.
