Are feed mothers more susceptible to illness?

My son is 4 mo. old. I rarely get sick but since I've been nursing I seem to catch a virus just by looking at someone with a cold. My son has only caught 1 of my many colds. I know that he gets my immunity while nursing, does that mean I don't get to use it anymore?
