Why do most black people perfer dem and say dems look out for them more?

wel all know that democrates in the 60's excpcially the dixicrates hated black and called for racial segregation so what change seeing as how MLK day was enacted by ronal regan and they say he is the white devil o and btw im a black person that voted for mccain
