I agree with the other post-er that the question would be moot. As a general principle, the courts will not consider a question that isn't a "live controversy". There is SOMETIMES an exception where the court will consider a moot question, but that is only where the issue is "capable of repetition, yet evading review". Typically that happens in cases where events occur so quickly that almost any case that comes before the court would be moot before the court has a chance to consider it. Those are rare exceptions, though, and the legislature's repeal of the law at issue would not be such an exception.
