Tom Brady is the smartest QB in the NFL. Was his running the ball to force other teams to account for him?

Without a doubt, he's the smartest and hardest working. He might have been acting some when he ran the ball. I think you're right, Tom was spreading out the offense as much as he could. He didn't need to throw to Randy Moss, everyone knows to watch out for Randy Moss. By running the ball in for the first touchdown, he takes the attention off Moss, and focuses it on him keeping the ball. I'll bet we don't see much more of that, unless teams continue to let him take the yardage and touchdowns. Tom takes what they give him, like all the great quarterbacks have.
