Anyone know a good lawyer in Texas, please help injustice. No lazy lawyers need apply, other , please help.?

My firend was fired from her job, its more complicated, ill give you the short story and it can be proved. She broke her foot (2 bones) after a maintanance man at the apt complex left a box in a walkway. She was not allowed time off to go look at the injury and didnt want to press because it was her first day. After 3 days she went and found out it was broke, then asked the manager and dm to help her by providing a cart and mobving some furniture, or time off. all were denied. she worked for 3 weeks, broke the foot worse, went back to a dr and he told her it was worse, take time off. She told the mng she was, then she was fired. They have no workmans comp so most lawyers will not take this cause, since they would have to work. The Texas workforce commision says its wrong, but you cant get a hold of anyone that can do crap. Even those so called " for the people " lawyers have turned her down, no reason, so you know its just because they wont get the wokers comp money and its too risky.
